MSSC Assessment Center Policies and Requirements

Organizations who serve as MSSC Authorized Assessment Centers must be able to show complete impartiality in the performance outcome of the MSSC “Certificant” (individual going through MSSC Certification).

Furthermore, organizations who give MSSC assessments must maintain absolute “confidentiality” and “prevention” of conflict of interest between them and the MSSC certificant.

MSSC Assessment Centers may NOT allow their “Site Coordinators” and/or “Proctors” to also serve as MSSC Instructors or be subject matter experts on MSSC training and assessment material.

MSSC Assessment Centers who are affiliated with and/or offer MSSC training or education programs must be able to document procedures which clearly draw a strong “firewall” between their MSSC certification assessment delivery program.

MSSC certificants must be entitled to uniform unbiased, equitable, and impartial treatment, which means that the organizations providing and proctoring the assessments may NOT also directly benefit from the outcomes and performance of certificant holders.

Industry-based organizations who employ individuals who are MSSC certificate/certification holders may NOT serve as MSSC Authorized Assessment Centers.  For the following reasons to:

Industry-based organizations MAY provide training and educational material to help prepare MSSC certificants for MSSC certification assessments.

Industry-based organizations may have independent “third-party” proctors give assessments at their business location provided they are not allowed access to the test outcomes.

NOTE: Please refer to MSSC’s logo policy regarding logo usage guidelines.  MSSC logos can not appear on any “CERTFICATE/ CERTIFICATION” systems, products, or documentation without authorization of the MSSC.
