MSSC Certificant Requirements
Please note the following requirements for individuals going through the MSSC certification process for both the Certified Production Technician (CPT) and the Certified Logistics Technician (CLT) certification systems. MSSC wants to ensure that certificants have a fair and equitable testing environment so that one individual does not have an advantage over another in the certification process.
No individual is required to take any MSSC courses in order to take our assessments. (Note: this applies to any course/training providers)
Certificants:
- Must accept an agreement to participate in the MSSC certification systems.
- Must wait for a period of 30 days before retaking as assessment.
- Must re-certify every 5 years. If they have earned full certification then only one assessment will be needed to maintain full certification status.
- Must follow secure and ethical test taking guidelines from their proctors (see Security Requirements).
- Must report to MSSC any Proctor violations including:
- Proctors who are absent
- Proctors who do not follow a “check-in” procedure i.e., check ID, remove electronic devices, are not instructors, allow the use of scrap paper not provided by the proctor, ensure a safe distance from neighboring test takers, and do not allow clear visibility or access from behind the test taker.
