MSSC Instructor Policies
In order to be a part of the MSSC “authorized” instructor program and published list and to protect the “certificant” going through the MSSC certification systems, instructors must abide by the following policies:
- As subject matter experts, instructors may NOT serve as proctors.
- Instructors may NOT require students to go through their training class in order to take MSSC assessments toward earning a certificate or certification.
- Instructors earn a “Certificate of Completion” for attending the 3-day instructor training session.
- Instructors are listed in the MSSC training program as “Authorized” to teach in the module concentrations for which they have passed an assessment and earned a certificate or certification.
- Instructors who make no effort to pass an assessment within 90 days of completing the instructor training will dropped from the MSSC list of “authorized” instructors.
- Instructors may apply/request for an 30 day extension if they are acting in good faith to participate in the MSSC training program.
- Instructors must follow all of the same “certificant” guidelines toward earning a certificate and/or certification (see Certifcant Policies).
